Dear Friends and Neighbors, As some of you may have noticed, changes are taking place in Maple Ridge Park. The basketball courts have been installed, the picnic tables are in place and the playground is up. For those of you who may not be familiar with the park, it's located off Elm Avenue East between the entrances to Dutch Mills and the Enclave. It's within walking distance of all 374 houses within Dutch Mills, the Enclave and Haswell Farms. Several individuals who live within Dutch Mills, the
Enclave and Haswell Farms have been working with the Town of Bethlehem
to select a vendor for the playground equipment, which should be installed
by the end of June. We are in the process of attempting to raise money
to create the kind of park that our neighborhoods deserve. Please contact April Elkovitch if you are interested in helping. You can also keep checking out this website for up-to-date information. All checks should be made payable to the Town of Bethlehem with "Maple Ridge Park" noted in the memo section. Please mail all checks to Kris Hull at 37 Chesterwood Drive, Selkirk, NY 12158. Kris will be recording all donations so they can be acknowledged by the Fundraising Committee, and she will send all funds collected directly to the Town of Bethlehem. If you have any questions about Maple Ridge Park or the playground equipment selection process, please contact Nan Lanahan, Administrator for The Town of Bethlehem Parks and Recreation Department, at (518) 439-4131 or via email. If you have any questions about the Fundraising Committee or are interested in donating your time or efforts, please contact April Elkovitch at (518) 478-0733 or via email. If we all work together, we can build an outstanding playground for our families to use and enjoy for many years to come. Thank you for your support! The Friends of Maple Ridge Park
